Job Description - Property Coordinator, month contract, Mthatha

SUMMARY: We are seeking a Property Coordinator : Leasehold for a 4-month temporary contract based in Mthatha, Eastern Cape POSITION INFO: Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

National Diploma in Commerce, Engineering, Legal / relevant field
3+ years relevant working experience with at least 2 years in property management, facilities management or another relevant environment
Valid driver license

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

General lease admin
Seek out tenants and ensure all application documents are in place; draw up lease agreement; ensure tenants understand lease agreements’
Ensure that processes are followed and draft acceptance letter to tenant
Undertake inspection (ingoing and outgoing) and provide supervisor the property checklist
Monitor / manage renewal of leases
Deal with problematic tenants
Regular calls / visits with tenants
Facilities management
Take note of property condition at beginning and end of lease
Engage with facilities management to access work required
Get maintenance quotes and approval
Doing regular property inspections
Filing and general documentation

Salary: Market related
