Job Description - Safari Property Sales and Marketing Executive

Valor Hospitality Partners is representing one of our esteemed clients who owns and operates a portfolio of leading beach resorts and luxury safari properties located in Mombasa, Zanzibar and Tanzania. Their portfolio comprises exquisite destinations that offer unparalleled experiences in leisure, adventure, and luxury. As they continue to expand their reach in the domestic market, they are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join the team in Nairobi, driving growth and fostering relationships with clients across the region

Job Overview :

The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling our portfolio of beach resorts and safari properties to clients in Nairobi and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our domestic market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with existing and prospective clients. This role requires a passionate and results-driven individual with a deep understanding of the local hospitality landscape and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration in Nairobi and neighboring regions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including travel agencies, corporate clients, event planners, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct presentations, site visits, and negotiations to showcase the unique offerings of our beach resorts and safari properties, effectively articulating their value proposition.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, collateral materials, and sales support tools tailored to the domestic market.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to capitalize on emerging opportunities and mitigate potential threats.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to track performance metrics and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and expand the network of contacts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality or tourism sector, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of the local market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitive landscape in Nairobi and surrounding areas.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving revenue growth.
