- Proven experience as a Storeman in the cabinetry industry or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of cabinetry components, including hinges, runners, and intricate parts.
- Familiarity with kitchen renovation materials and components.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record-keeping.
Responsibilities: - Oversee the receiving, storing, and issuing of cabinetry materials, including hinges, runners, and intricate components.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Implement effective stores control measures to prevent discrepancies and losses, particularly for cabinetry-related items.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory records for cabinetry components.
- Receive and process material requests from various departments, prioritizing cabinetry components for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels for cabinetry materials.
- Inspect incoming cabinetry materials for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to address any discrepancies in cabinetry components.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns, specifically for cabinetry items.
- Generate reports on cabinetry-related inventory status for management review.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure safety protocols within the warehouse are followed, with a focus on cabinetry materials handling.
