Job Description:

The Liberty Group is seeking a passionate and adaptable individual to join our team as a PR Associate. This is a remote work position based in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. As an entry-level member of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in the field of public relations.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of PR campaigns - Draft press releases, media pitches, and other written materials - Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for clients - Build and maintain relationships with media contacts - Assist in coordinating events, press conferences, and other PR activities - Conduct research to support PR initiatives - Provide support to senior team members as needed

Requirements: - No prior experience required, but a strong interest in public relations is a must - Strong planning and organizational skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - High level of emotional intelligence - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred - Must be willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Soft skills: - Strong planning skills to effectively manage tasks and deadlines - High emotional intelligence to navigate relationships and communications effectively
