An industry-leading company situated in the Western Cape is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Professionally Registered Quantity Surveyor to join their team.The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:Doing estimatesMeasuring Quantities from plans to compile BOQsPreparing tender documentationPreparing valuationsMeasuring and agreeing to final accountsProject ManagementQuality AssuranceMulti-disciplinary services co-ordinationTeam co-ordinationOversee projects as neededLiaising with clients and other stakeholdersKey Requirements:Analytical thinker with proven problem solvingManage and prioritize complex tasksStrong verbal and written communication skillsCompetency in mathematical and accounting principlesReports, feasibility studies and cost analyses of processesManage multiple projects at the same timeExcellent construction- and general project management skillsBe able and willing to mentor and guide junior quantity surveyorsSound knowledge of the JBCC and other relevant building contractsSound knowledge of CIDB standardsHave a working knowledge of quality management systems (ISO :)Experience:4 years post-Pr QS registration experiencePublic facilities building experience.Preferably experience with Government projects and the South African tender processEducation & certificates:BSc (Hons) QS or similar qualification in Quantity Surveying that allows for professional registrationRegistered as a Professional with the SACQSPProject management qualification or experience benefitsHire Resolve is a top-tier recruitment firm that focuses on placing skilled professionals in permanent employment.Hire Resolve focuses on working with senior-level executives and we pride ourselves on delivering excellent service to our candidates and clients.Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
