Job Purpose:

To provide support to the staff of Electronic Services in terms of installations and
maintenance of various electronic systems.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Undertakes field maintenance of the area adjacent to CCTV and fibre optic installations.
• Partakes in the installation and preventative / corrective maintenance of CCTV,
fibre and any other electronic systems.
• Undertakes cleaning during installation and planned maintenance work.
• Removes electronic equipment for repairs and laboratory testing.
• Supports technical staff in other workshops and provides administrative
support.
• Collects and dispatches parcels/equipment to and from agent suppliers.
• Performs preventative maintenance on CCTV, video, audio, fibre and other
electronic systems.

Essential Requirements:

•Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent with Electrical Technology
•1 Year relevant experience

Preferred Requirements:

•Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
•Studying towards a trade certificate.
•2 Years relevant experience.

Essential Experience 

• 12 Months relevant experience. 

Preferred Experience 

• 18 Months relevant experience. 

Essential Qualifications 

• Valid unrestricted motor vehicle drivers license (Code B, C or EB).
