Job Overview

Business Segment: Group Functions

Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Simmonds Street

To provide guidance and support to the SBSA Corporate Travel department in order to deliver exceptional services as it relates to business travel for employees globally as well as international business partners. To implement and drive the Client Services strategy, philosophy and ecosystems to enable the delivery of Facilities Management's strategic goals nationally.

Experience:

  • Experience in providing guidance and direction to individuals and teams for the day-to-day tasks related to planning and organising activities, events and office administration.
  • Project management experience is a key requirement to scope, define, design, development, test and implement business changes. Monitor and oversee the execution of the different components and controlling resources, both people and financial, to achieve specific goals within Corporate Travel.
  • Procurement experience is required in order to develop, implement, monitor and control service level agreements for various outsource providers and vendors globally. Manage operational performance and address non-performance.
Additional Information

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated input and procurement advice in negotiating competitive rates for the Standard Bank Group to ensure alignment with the approved travel strategy.
  • Monitor procurement's execution of the annual renewal of contracts with preferred suppliers together with any additional requirements as per the business requirements across Segments.
  • Drive the implementation of International point-to-point bookings through the approved systems and platforms to ensure standardisation and adoption of the systems.
  • Actively monitor, control and manage the service level agreements with approved travel suppliers to ensure operational performance as per the SLA agreements and address any deviations.
  • Monitor and manage travel services to all Standard Bank business travelers and international business partners to ensure the internal and external customer satisfaction scoring exceeds 85% month-on-month, while building a full-service recovery on any customer complaints.
  • Monitor and report SBSA concentration risks to ensure alignment to the current travel policy and risk assessment guidelines.
  • Develop and provide workshops and training material as it relates to business traveling to identify any shortfalls in the travel space as an extension of the approved travel policy and ensure alignment to all applicable regulations such as Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Health and Safety.
  • Act as key escalation point for all travel related inquiries and field requests in order to provide exceptional services to all business travellers across the Standard Bank Group.
  • Provide effective and transparent communication as it relates to travel policies through various communication channels to ensure that travellers are aware of health/safety/corporate responsibilities together with utilising preferred suppliers where the organisation has negotiated special corporate deals in order to save costs.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in the specialist field of corporate traveling by attending conferences and engaging with suppliers and buyers to address the challenges faced in the global traveling market.
