We are looking for a highly curious; target driven; customer-obsessed Account Development Manager to whom the words âclient first!â really gets their heart racing. A dynamic professional; who is interested in being the architect of great customer experiences. Someone who has a passion for growing market share and increasing sales revenue by adding value and delivering excellent client service. The kind of person who brings a lot of buzz and energy to any room they walk into.
We are looking for someone with a wealth of Brand, Trade and Shopper Marketing experience. Solid understanding of purpose driven, bespoke POP Display, working within the FMCG sectors and flexible to market conditions and economic changes (spending patterns and client demands). Not only should the individual be great at managing and growing an account based on client needs, they should also be able to create opportunities, leveraging our internal teamsâ understanding of our industry.
Job Description / Requirements
Own and manage a portfolio of stakeholder relationships within an existing key account; and play a support role to the Business Unit Director in managing others - develop strategies to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to nurture and grow them through amazing customer experiences that delight our clients
Align with business strategy to achieve growth on the account through business development approaches within the account.
Continuously build on relationships with clients by understanding their business & proposing solutions that meet their objectives
Work closely with internal teams to nail the clientâs brief On Time, In Full, With no Errors
Serve as the seamless communication link between the customer and the internal team
Ensure best in class service delivery on every project that runs through the business
Pitching and presenting to clients (mid to senior) on a regular basis on briefs received and created by you and supported through the internal cross functional teams
Out of the box problem solver - diplomatically solve problems when the need arises
Adherence to SLAs.
Research; identify, analyse and curate optimum approach for existing business growth to achieve set targets and KPIs
Travel nationally to meet customers and internal teams as and when required (limited travel requirement)
Administer and report across internal and external teams.
Qualifications ; Skills and Experience
Degree/Tertiary Education in Sales & Marketing / Business studies
5 years of Account Management & Account Development experience within Below The Line / Trade marketing / Shopper marketing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with all levels of the organisation and manager customer relationships optimally
At least 4-5 years B2B sales experience with a proven track record in selling and achieving targets
3+ years pitching and presenting to clients (strong presentation skills)
Problem solving and Negotiation Skills
Well versed in closing and delivering exceptional conversion rates
Demonstrates sound business acumen
Strong administration and reporting capability (including CRM software)
Computer Literate (G-Suite, MS Office proficient)
