Where will the successful candidate fit in?

The position is for Account Manager in the RSAWEB Business, SME Sales team based in the Cape Town office. You will work closely with the Sales Manager for SME and the Head of Business.

The successful candidate will manage a set of SME Accounts with the focus on customer growth and retention, while ensuring that RSAWEB provide the best products and solutions to transition the client's business in an innovative manner.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Manage a portfolio of clients using excellent relationship building techniques.

  • Developing account management strategies and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions to meet client needs.

  • Using previous business development and solution selling experience to grow the SME customer base.

  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Attend industry networking events, as required.

  • The ability to create meaningful proposals customized to each customer requirement.

  • The ability to aggressively manage the sales cycle to ensure customers are on boarded quickly and efficiently.

  • Effective co-ordination and escalation of matters to relevant business managers and stakeholders

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and weekly activity reports.

  • ​And any other reasonable task.






Requirements



  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years’ experience with selling business Connectivity, and additional SME focused solutions to SME customer base.

  • Successful Sales track record in a solution sales environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on upsell.

  • Engage with organizations to position RSAWEB solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references, and demonstrating an understanding of the competitors.

  • Uncover and create additional and new business opportunities.

  • Must know how to negotiate and close deals under pressure and influence all stakeholders in a deal.

  • 3-Year Diploma or Degree level preferential. Skills and experience will be evaluated in lieu of a formal qualification.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • Commitment to delighting customers and creating a trusted environment for customers to engage in.

  • Ownership – able to take responsibility, troubleshoot problems and work with teams to get results.

  • Ruthless on customer service excellence.

  • Must be proficient in both oral and written communication skills (English and Afrikaans).

  • Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and customers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of RSAWEB.

  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and managed.

  • Energetic and goal orientated.
