Accountant

Accounting Services Inc., a company within the VM Group of Companies, seeks the services of a qualified Accountant with a completed qualification in accounting.

The incumbent is required to complete annual financial statements, PAYE, VAT etc. and will be working with a team, possibly under his/her supervision or guidance.

The individual must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting firm and have knowledge of Pastel, Caseware and Microsoft Office.

• Work experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
