Accountant

The successful candidate would be accountable for the accounting operations, producing financial reports, maintain proper
accounting record and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to
mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the reported financial results and
ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting
principles or international financial reporting standards.

Maintenance of bookkeeping for a portfolio of prestigious clients

Attend to audit queries and liaise with the auditors and ensure finalisation of audit within the relevant deadlines

Ensure tax filing and tax compliance for the portfolio of clients

Maintain an awareness of the legal and regulatory frame work within which the company operates

Supervise and manage 3 members of staff in the team

Capture the timesheets of the team and system and enter them into the system.

Good knowledge of Xero and Excel

Be able to work with a team of people and ensure team spirit cultivated

Set a good example to the team by keeping good appearance and punctual office hours.

Report to the board on staff and client matters.
