Accountant

The Accountant supports the Finance Manager in overseeing
the financial health of the organization. This role is responsible for
assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and the day-to-day
financial operations.

• Assist
  with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
  statements and reports.
  
• Support
  the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  
• Maintain
  general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations.
  
• Processing
  of month end journals
  
• Assist
  with the preparation for internal and external audits.
  
• Ensure
  compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  
• Cash
  book processing.
  
• Resolving
  accounts receivable queries and sending/uploading monthly customer
  statements
  
• Liaise
  with internal departments to provide financial insights and support
  decision-making.
  
• Participate
  in process improvements and automation initiatives.
  
• Assist
  with inter-company billings & loan accounts
  

Requirements

• Degree
  in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
  
• Professional
  certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or actively pursuing (beneficial).
  
• 1–3
  years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
  
• Proficiency
  in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage Evolution, QuickBooks,
  SAP, Syspro).
  
• Strong
  analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent
  attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  
• Ability
  to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  
• Have
  patience to train staff where needed and share knowledge.
