Accountant

Malander is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk / Accountant to support the financial operations of a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have practical AP/AR experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage supplier invoices, reconciliations and vendor queries while ensuring compliance with financial controls and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accurate pricing, purchase order matching, supporting documentation and appropriate approvals.


• Resolve invoice discrepancies, payment queries and supplier-related issues in collaboration with procurement, finance and plant operations.


• Identify opportunities to improve the procure-to-pay (P2P) process, strengthen controls and improve turnaround times.


• Ensure supplier invoices align with contractual agreements and agreed commercial terms.


• Communicate with and guide vendors on invoicing requirements and supporting documentation to minimise errors and delays.


• Maintain accurate supplier records, reconciliations, transaction documentation and audit trails.


• Support compliance with internal financial procedures and procurement controls.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant finance or accounting qualification.


• Practical experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.


• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.


• Strong Excel skills and experience with invoice verification, purchase order matching and supplier reconciliations.


• Understanding of procure-to-pay processes and financial controls.


• Strong communication, problem-solving and vendor relationship management skills.


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, operational environment.


• Manufacturing, automotive or similar industry experience will be advantageous.
