Job Description - Accountant/ Office Manager (Property Industry)

Our growing Property Investment Company client is seeking a qualified Property Accountant to join their team. This role with also involve some Office Management suties. 
  • Assisting financial manager with financial reporting in the subsidiaries
  • Review and/or prepare management packs
  • Prepare annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Review and manage the process of preparing audit files and attending/managing auditor queries where applicable
  • Ad hoc analysis and tasks as may be required from time to time which can include documenting business processes defined in meetings.
  • Review/prepare tax computations, calc prov tax payments and dividend pay outs
  • Prepare Tax returns on GreatSoft
  • Assist with vat verifications, Income tax verifications and other SARS related tax queries
  • Financial reporting to shareholders.


Requirements

  • B Com or equivalent
  • SAIPA/SAICA Registration not required however beneficial
  • Articles or experience at small audit/accounting practice beneficial or similar work experience
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • 2 -3 years relevant work experience
