A leading property group based in Claremont has an outstanding opportunity for a hands -on Accountant to oversee the full finance function across multiple subsidiaries. This is a dynamic role suited for a finance professional who thrives in a fast -paced environment, enjoys the intricacies of group reporting, and wants to play a strategic role in shaping the financial health of an ambitious company.

From monthly management accounts to tax submissions, budget reviews to financial consolidations, you’ll be deeply involved in every corner of the business's financial operations—contributing to its continued growth and compliance.

• Monthly Management Accounts
  
• Monthly accounting journal entries
  
• Creditors Payments, Debtors Billing/Collections Review
  
• Monthly VAT Recons and VAT submissions
  
• Current and Deferred Tax calculations as well as submitting tax returns to SARS
  
• Drafting Financial Statements for subsidiaries and assisting with the year end audit for the Group and subsidiaries
  
• Financial Consolidations for certain companies within the Group
  
• Cash Flow Management and Forecasting
  
• Preparing/Reviewing the Annual Budgets
  
• ​You will be responsible for multiple subsidiaries within the Group. 
  

Requirements

• Finance Degree
  
• CIMA/SAIPA articles / 3 years in a full finance function role
  
• Advanced
  Excel Capability
  
• Strong
  analytical and problem -solving abilitieS
  
• High
  level of accuracy and attention to detail
  
• Excellent
  organizational and time management skills.
  
• Strong
  teamwork, co -ordination, and planning, self -driven, and ability to work at
  pace in a dynamic organization
  
• Work
  well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  
• Strong interpersonal and
