Our client is a fast-growing US-based education company that acquires and operates a network of early childhood education centers. Through centralized finance, accounting, payroll, HR, and operational support, the company is building a scalable platform and is experiencing rapid growth through acquisitions.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own the day-to-day accounting function and lead the month-end close process across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role in a high-growth environment, ideal for someone who thrives in building scalable processes, improving financial operations, and working closely with US leadership.

This position offers strong long-term growth potential, with a clear path toward a Controller-level role.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Month-End Close

• Own the month-end close process across multiple entities.


• Prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.


• Maintain accurate and well-documented accounting records.


• Develop and improve accounting processes, controls, and SOPs.

General Ledger

• Manage the General Ledger and ensure accurate transaction coding.


• Support multi-entity accounting and financial reporting.


• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and system enhancements.

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

• Oversee the accounts payable process.


• Manage vendor onboarding, payments, and documentation.


• Support procurement and corporate purchasing activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with operational teams and leadership to resolve accounting matters.


• Support finance initiatives and process improvements across the business.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.


• Experience managing month-end close in a multi-entity or high-growth environment.


• Experience working with US-based companies and US accounting practices.


• Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting and reconciliations.


• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite is highly preferred.


• Experience with modern accounting and spend management platforms is an advantage.


• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.


• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
