Accounts Payable Manager

• Take full responsibility for managing the accounts payable process, from invoice
  capture through to payment execution and reconciliation.
  
• Handle supplier
  invoicing, coding, and processing with a high level of accuracy and
  attention to cost control.
  
• Allocate operational consumables such as diesel and workshop materials across
  cost centres or projects.
  
• Liaise closely with the internal workshop team to verify job card usage, match
  invoices, and ensure proper allocation of expenses.
  
• Prepare supplier
  reconciliations and address queries or discrepancies with urgency.
  
• Manage compliance with ISO supplier documentation and internal procurement
  protocols.
  
• Maintain supplier accounts, ensure adherence to
  payment terms, and uphold good supplier relationships.
  
• Utilise Pastel, Accpac, and advanced Excel for all accounts payable
  reporting and processing.
  
• Support the finance team with month-end reporting, journal
  preparation, and audit readiness related to the AP function.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5
  years' experience in accounts payable,
  preferably in an operations- or logistics-based environment.
  
• Solid
  knowledge of Pastel, Accpac, and advanced Excel 
  
• Experience
  with diesel and consumable allocations is highly beneficial.
  
• Familiarity
  with ISO supplier standards and procurement procedures is advantageous.
  
• Excellent
  attention to detail, financial accuracy, and a proactive approach to
  problem-solving.
  
• Strong
  ability to work independently and manage the AP function with minimal
  supervision.
  
• Effective
  communication skills for coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
