Accounts Payable Specialist (Hybrid)

• Validate, verify, and post business transactions to maintain accurate accounts payable records.
  
• Process supplier invoices, including matching, verification, and posting in the accounting system.
  
• Prepare and execute payment runs, including manual payments, automated checks, and wire transfers.
  
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and vendor accounts.
  
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and missing documentation.
  
• Maintain proper filing of invoices, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
  
• Assist with monthly financial close by ensuring all payable invoices are captured accurately.
  
• Handle administrative and overhead invoices.
  
• Communicate professionally with vendors and creditors regarding statements and queries.
  
• Perform statement reconciliations and respond to payment -related inquiries.
  
• Support VAT declarations, currency uploads, and other finance -related tasks as assigned.
  
• Collaborate with General Ledger accountants and auditors by providing required documentation and explanations.
  
• Train and support colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices within the team.
  
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, company policies, and established guidelines.
  
• Assist with ad hoc finance projects and additional duties as required.
  

Requirements

• Accounting/Finance degree.
  
• 3 -5 years experience in accounting. 
  
• Experience with Accounts Payable and General Ledgers 
  
• Prior experience with International Accounting
