Job Description - Administrator - Risk & Compliance

To assistin providing independent operational risk and compliance oversight, guidanceand support to the SA Fund Administration business within JTC’s defined riskappetite and adherence to regulations as appropriate.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Performcompliance monitoring based on a risk-based compliance plan to providereasonable assurance to senior management both local and abroad (to which JTCSAprovides outsourced services).
  • Assistin processing and analysing ad-hoc or formal compliance breach and errorreports in a timely, effective and accurate manner for management review andescalation.
  • Prepare, process andanalyse all daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc management reports in a timely, effective and accurate manner for management reviewincluding escalation.
  • Providing support andmaintenance of relevant risk policies for the business, including training.
  • To contribute to andfoster the development of risk culture throughout the JTC Group.
  • Maintenanceof various internal registers.
  • Buildinggood working relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
  • Remain independent from thelocal business to provide challenge and support, as and when required. 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Good verbal and writtencommunication skills.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Independent thought.
  • Ability to probe and not takethings at face value.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work across multipletasks at a time.
  • Ability to work under pressure andin a fast-paced environment.
  • A relevant tertiary qualificationand/or experience in compliance / financial services.
  • Good interpersonal skills to build and sustainrelationships with the business and key stakeholders.
  • Effectiveinfluencing skills with an ability to challenge with confidence.
  • Adaptableto change.
  • Risk / internal audit experience ideally in a financial services environment.
