Job Description - Analyst Marketing and Content Coordinator

This role is based in our Cape Town office. As Marketing and Content Coordinator, you will report to the Manager – Marketing Growth Automation. From a high-level perspective, the core responsibilities that form your role are broken down into the following categories:

Your Daily Tasks
The Marketing & Content Coordinator will support the daily execution of marketing activity across multiple channels. This role is essential for maintaining momentum, ensuring accuracy, and supporting campaign and event workflows. This role requires you to be highly organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-moving marketing function
1. Strategy & Project Support:
Help prioritise and structure workloads across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to keep campaigns and deliverables on track.
Maintain shared calendars, timelines, and campaign planning documentation.
2. Marketing Coordination
Manage the social publishing schedule and coordinate content uploads.
Support short-form content writing across social, events, and internal updates.
Assist with logistics for webinars, events, and campaigns.
Maintain marketing task boards and project workflows.
Conduct research, competitor tracking, and data gathering.
Provide QA across marketing deliverables.
Coordinate with designers and automation specialists to streamline output.
3. Content Support
Support digital campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.).
Support tracking and reporting tools (Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Search Console).
Prepare basic dashboards and summaries for internal reporting.
4. Events & Activations:
Support marketing-led events, sponsorships, and activations.
Coordinate event logistics: venues, vendors, collateral, and timelines.
Support pre-event activities (registrations, RSVP tracking, briefing packs).
Assist with on-site or virtual delivery (setup, signage, branded assets).
Support post-event follow-ups, communications, and performance reporting.
5. Risk and Compliance Responsibilities:
These responsibilities include the representation to the company’s Risk and Compliance perspective and include (but not limited to) the following tasks:
Governance Framework – Adherence to the governance framework and ensure cohesiveness across all teams, offices, and service lines.
Quality Control – Adhere to change controls and internal quality assurance
Compliance Culture - Working in tandem with the groups Head of Compliance and Governance to instill a culture that is centered around good governance and compliance.
Operational Controls - Driving and contributing to a culture of quality/excellence, through risk awareness and adherence to regulatory compliance standards and operational controls.
Regulatory Adherence - Ensuring an effective risk-based approach is adopted to meet all regulatory compliance procedures per jurisdiction.
Strategic Expectations
Smooth execution of posting schedules, events, and campaign workflows.
Coordinated communication between marketing, design, and sales.
Reliable operational support that increases team productivity.
Consistent progress on tasks regardless of timezone differences.
Required Skills & Experience

Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or/
Marketing National Diploma with 1–3 years of experience in marketing coordination, content, or digital roles.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Good written English with ability to adapt to brand tone.
Basic familiarity with social tools, scheduling platforms, and CRM systems.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
