Artisan Refrigeration/ Airconditioning

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost-effective way

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Perform Technical jobs within the locality


2. Perform administration duties within the technical function


3. Planned maintenance tasks as allocated


4. Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality


5. Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality


6. Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MININUM EXPERIENCE: More than 5 years’ of artisan (Refrigeration/ Air-Conditioning artisan) experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: N/A

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Appropriate trade test-certified (Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning).

DESIRED EDUCATION: N/A

ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATION: Trade test certificate; and valid driver's licence. 

DESIRED CERTIFICATION: Registered SAQCC-Gas (only applicable to South African air-conditioning artisans)
