Job Description - Assistant Accountant/Warehouse Incharge

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Finance (Assistant Accountant Duties)

Data Entry & Bookkeeping: Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments accurately.

Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations, vendor statement reconciliations, and verify cash book/petty cash records.

Invoicing: Process customer invoices, manage accounts payable/receivable, and check invoices against expenses.

Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Compliance: Maintain documentation for audits and ensure compliance with internal financial policies.

2. Warehouse Operations (Warehouse Incharge Duties)

Inventory Control: Oversee daily receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Stock Management: Perform physical stock counts and reconcile them with the ERP/SAP system.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records and generate inventory reports.

Logistics & Documentation: Ensure zero defective/short-received materials, coordinate with transporters, and prepare shipping documentation

Accounting Software: Familiarity with Tally ERP 9, QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero.

Soft Skills: High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong communication skills
