This role provides immediate response to administrative requirements in accordance with SLA parameters, in a fund administration environment. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.

Key responsibilities will include amongst others the following:

Operational Processing

• Follows processes to perform fund administration.
• Predominantly focusing on New Fund Loads and related functions.
• Maintains client relationships in accordance with legislation, FSCA regulations and good accounting practice.
• Ensures instructions to the market are carried out accurately.
• Ensures payments are done accurately and timeously.
• Provides daily and weekly reporting in a predetermined format.

Relationship building

• Assist with building and maintaining a unified and sound team.
• Assist with building working relationships across lines of business and with 3rd parties to achieve service excellence and effective resolution of problems.

Personal Effectiveness

• Delivery through own efforts and through others.
• Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.
• Accepts and lives the company values.
• Strong analytical skills.

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Tertiary qualification or BCom/equivalent degree required.
• Minimum 3 years accounting experience required.
• Computer literacy – MS Office and Advanced Excel required.
• Working knowledge of the OMIA/OMIS business model and related systems infrastructures (Advantage).
• Experience working with Stadium applications is required
• Exposure to or knowledge of Manco Trading Box working principles will be advantageous
• Knowledge of the Unit Trust Distribution process will be advantageous
