Assistant General Manager / Operations Manager - South AfricaFull job descriptionHospitality and Outdoor – Apply Today – Assistant General Manager / Operations ManagerHospitality Company – CongoRequirements:A relevant tertiary qualification in either Management or Hospitality (Highly Beneficial)Must be someone who has worked in a francophone country & able to speak French.Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Duty Manager, as well as a minimum of 3 years experience in an Operations Management position in a 4/5 Star HotelShould be experienced within all different areas of a Lodge.Polite, friendly person with a strong personality that can think on their feetWell-spoken and well-presented individualStrong leader who have been in charge of employees beforeMust have grade 12 and be computer literateFormal hospitality degree/diploma preferableDescription:Responsible for the efficient management of both restaurants and wine cellar & bar areas.Implementation and management of SOP’s in conjunction with the Executive Director.Staff skill development and training at all levels: to provide further training of all staff so each member has multiple and varied life skills whilst simultaneously ensuring that our high standards are maintained.To manage the financial accounts of the business in conjunction with the Executive director, controlling costs and ensuring budgets are followed across all properties.Ensure that all operational departments are maximising revenue and profit potential, whilst minimising expenditure.Coordinate with property General Manager in all facets of the estate’s operations.Be knowledgeable on brand standards.Full HR compliance/policies/procedures, adhering to local, state and federal laws are adhered.Oversee selection and performance of vendor services, including preparation of requests for proposal and service agreements; monitor vendor performance against service level agreements.Package on offer:Salary is negotiable depending on their experience up to 4000$ pm.2 holidays a year of 3 weeks.Medical insurance.Starting Date: Immediately.
