We are looking for assistant lecturers that are interested in joining the Postgraduate department which runs the Bridging programme (BCTA) and the Post graduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA), within the School of Professional Accounting.
We are looking for strong students to join our team on an initial fixed term contract for 11 months from February 2027 in all subjects (namely, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Management Accounting and Finance and Corporate Governance and Auditing).
Successful candidates will join the existing subject teams, which are responsible for delivering and supporting all aspects of the relevant subject, while aligning with Milpark’s core values.
The roles include facilitation of individual and group live online sessions with students; written and online student support; assessment review and setting, marking and online student community development. The exact makeup of the role for each assistant lecturer will depend on the needs of the relevant subject team.
Staff will be based remotely and are therefore required to have a suitable working environment and reliable internet access. Travel to Cape Town may also be required for team meetings twice a year.

Education & Experience Requirements
Successful completion of the Milpark PGDA and eligibility to write SAICA’s IAC in 2027 (or before)
OR expected completion of the Milpark PGDA in October 2026.
Completed and signed off SAICA articles at a SAICA registered training office.
A track record of above average academic performance.
Not required but beneficial:
Successful completion of the SAICA IAC exam
Relevant lecturing experience
Online teaching and learning experience
