Assistant Repairman - Aqua

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Repairman with repairing and maintaining all equipment and machinery onboard the cruise ship

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting machinery

- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions

- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems

- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on board

- Communicate effectively with the Repairman and other crew members to ensure efficient operation of equipment

- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a maritime setting

- Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance techniques

- Familiarity with hand and power tools

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Physically fit and able to work in a variety of weather conditions

- Willingness to work long hours and be on call as needed
