· Lead and sign off on
statutory audits in accordance with IFRS, IFRS for
SMEs, ISAs, and the Companies Act
· Ensure full compliance with IRBA standards, quality control (ISQM 1 & 2), and ethical requirements
· Oversee audit planning, execution, review,
and finalisation for complex and high-risk engagements
· Act as Engagement Partner on key clients
· Build and maintain strong, long-term
relationships with key clients and stakeholders
· Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on
audit, governance, risk, and regulatory matters
· Manage client portfolios, including fee
negotiations and engagement economics
· Identify and pursue new business
opportunities within audit and assurance services
· Contribute to firm-wide growth strategies and
cross-selling of advisory/tax services
· Represent the firm at industry events, client
meetings, and professional forums
· Ensure effective risk management across the
audit portfolio
· Manage independence, conflict checks, and
engagement acceptance processes
· Address audit quality findings, internal
reviews, and regulatory inspections
· Lead, mentor, and develop audit directors,
managers, and professional staff
· Drive a high-performance culture, including
succession planning
· CA (SA)
· Registered
Auditor with the IRBA
· Minimum
5 years in a management role within a auditing firm
· Experience managing large and complex audit
portfolios
· Strong exposure to listed and/or large
private entities (sector dependent)
