Baker

 An exciting opportunity awaits a talented and innovative Baker at a Non-Profit Organization based in Pietermaritzburg. We are seeking an individual committed to delivering exceptional baked goods and services with timeliness and professionalism. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, executing, and developing recipes, conduction quality checks on ingredients and finished items enhancing item presentation, and managing customer orders. Maintaining hygiene standards during the baking process is paramount .

 Job Requirements: 

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. 
  
• Follow recipes and ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and quality. 
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. 
  
• Ensure all baking supplies are stocked and order when necessary. 
  
• Adhere to health and safety standards and company procedures. 
  
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. 
  

Requirements

 Requirements: 

• Matric or equivalent (NFQ Level 4) 
  
• Additional certification in baking skills 
  
• Proven experience as a baker (2+ years preferred). 
  
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment. 
  
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 
  
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods. 
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality. 
  
• A friendly, reliable, and hard-working attitude.
