BASIC AMBULANCE ASSISTANTS

Duties :
Render Basic Life Support (BLS) interventions and provide emergency medical care within the prescribed scope of practice of a Basic Ambulance Assistant. Respond to emergency incidents, inter-facility transfers, Gauteng Scheduled Emergency Transport (G-SET), and Planned Patient Transport (PPT) requests in accordance with EMS operational requirements. Perform patient assessment, initiate appropriate treatment, and ensure safe transportation of patients to designated healthcare facilities. Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of all patient care activities through proper completion of Patient Report Forms (PRFs). Maintain operational readiness of ambulances, including cleanliness, equipment checks, and proper management of medical resources. Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols, as well as all applicable EMS policies, procedures, and Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs). TO APPLY EMAIL CV TO; [email protected]
