Beauty Department Manager

An opportunity has arisen in the Pretoria area for Beauty Department Managers. The roles objective is to maximise selling opportunities by providing consistently exceptional customer experience and ensuring profitability in leading the Beauty team to meet and or exceed targets. The suitable applicants must reside in Pretoria East, Atteridgeville and Mamelodi. 

Description

• Responsible for stock management disciplines, stock losses and shrinkage at store level daily
• Recruit, develop, retain and lead a competent and motivated Beauty Team to deliver against the Beauty Budget
• Manage sales activities on a day-to day basis with agreed performance measures
• Manage the commission process in the Store - e.g. give input for budgets, communicate targets to Beauty Consultants, monitor performance against targets
• Maximise promotional sales through effective planning and implementation of promotions and special events in conjunction with the Beauty Brand Houses
• Build effective relationships with the Area Representatives from the Brand Houses to ensure support for promotions and events
• Provide input into the Stores Operating Plan
• Delivery of good housekeeping principles

Education Profile

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
• 3 years relevant Beauty Industry experience
• Up to 2 years of relevant managerial experience
• Available and flexible to work shifts and weekends
• Must have experience managing various cosmetics counters
