Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a detail -oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator to join our clients finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, performing reconciliations, and supporting the finance function across multiple business units. This role requires strong bookkeeping knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast -paced environment.
Check, process, and file petty cash transactions.
Compile Kiosk Performance Sheets and related reports.
Submit turnover figures to Property Managing Agents.
Prepare and compile income statements for kiosks and branches.
Process customer and supplier invoices for subcontractors.
Reconcile subcontractor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Process supplier invoices relating to fuel and linehaul expenses.
Reconcile fuel and linehaul accounts.
Check, validate, and process linehaul payout claims.
Load and maintain subcontractor information on internal systems.
Perform management account reconciliations.
Assist with month -end financial processes and reporting.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Perform general finance and administrative duties as required.
Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
Bookkeeping Diploma or related financial qualification advantageous.
Minimum of 2–3 years' bookkeeping or accounting administration experience.
Previous experience working in a fast -paced environment.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices.
Ability to accurately calculate, post, and manage accounting transactions and financial records.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong debtor and creditor management experience.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem -solving, and reconciliation skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience.
Experience working with multiple branches, kiosks, or operational sites.
Exposure to fuel, transport, logistics, or subcontractor accounting environments will be advantageous.
