Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bus Driver to join our team at Msuez Uk in Durban, South Africa. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating our buses and transporting passengers to their destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate the bus and follow all traffic laws and regulations

- Ensure the safety of passengers at all times

- Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus

- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts

- Communicate effectively with passengers and provide excellent customer service

- Follow assigned routes and schedules

- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus

- Handle any passenger concerns or emergencies in a professional manner

- Adhere to company policies and procedures

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition

- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor

- Attend safety training and meetings as required

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit)

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bus driver

- Clean driving record

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

- Familiarity with Durban roads and traffic laws

- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a calm and professional manner

- Good physical condition and able to sit for long periods of time

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Must pass a background check and drug test

Working Conditions:

As a full-time Bus Driver at Msuez Uk, you will work an average of 40 hours per week with the potential for overtime. You will be required to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. The job may involve sitting for long periods of time, and you may be exposed to various weather conditions.
