Job Title: Business Analyst (Short-Term Contract)

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a short-term basis as part of a new project proposal for a financial technology client. This is a Johannesburg-based, on-site role, working closely with our development stream to help analyse, document, and define the client's current state ("as-is") and future state ("to-be") business and technical requirements.

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented BA who can hit the ground running and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements
  

• Document as-is processes and define clear, actionable to-be requirements
  

• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions
  

• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
  

• Work closely with the development team to ensure alignment and clarity
  

• Support the team through the early delivery phases of the project
  

• Provide clear and structured documentation throughout the engagement

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech or related industries
  

• Strong understanding of business process modelling and requirements documentation
  

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  

• Based in Johannesburg and available to work on-site full-time
  

• Immediate availability preferred
