The Role: Business Consultant – Partner & Client FX This role focuses on supporting introducing partners and their clients by identifying growth opportunities, building long-term relationships, and driving foreign exchange sales. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding regional account activity, and managing clients from initial enquiry through to trade readiness and completion.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver annual and monthly sales targets in line with the companys sales strategy
Identify and develop growth opportunities within partner and affiliate channels
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners and clients
Develop an effective regional distribution network of contacts and FX market influencers
Maintain, influence, and grow senior-level relationships with FX partners and introducing affiliates
Generate, manage, and close a consistently high volume of FX sales opportunities
Identify client needs and provide appropriate FX solutions and services
Develop and maintain a strong business pipeline for regional accounts
Support introducing partners and corporate clients from enquiry through to trade completion
Facilitate client onboarding, including registration and collection of KYC documentation
Manage clients through to full trade readiness in line with regulatory requirements
Prepare an annual sales plan with monthly and quarterly updates and revisions
Adhere to ethical principles, values, and regulatory standards at all times
About You
Proven target-driven mindset with the ability to work under pressure
Sales experience within the financial services industry is advantageous
Strong understanding of FX sales, systems, and processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner
Confident and effective in cold calling, influencing, and persuading at all levels
Fast learner with a proactive, self-starter approach
Highly motivated, committed, and willing to go the extra mile
Organized with excellent diary management and time management skills
Team player comfortable working within a small, collaborative team
Open, friendly, and approachable with strong interpersonal skills
Professional, neat, and presentable in appearance and conduct
Displays gravitas, emotional maturity, and confidence when engaging partners and clients
Bilingual English and Afrikaans is advantageous
Matric qualification with regulatory exams (RE) and FAIS compliance
A relevant business or legal qualification would be beneficial
