The Role: Business Consultant – Property & Estate Agency
The Business Consultant will focus on corporate clients and introducing partners within the property and estate agency space, driving foreign exchange sales and developing a sustainable regional pipeline. The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, managing senior-level client relationships, and guiding clients from initial enquiry through onboarding to full trade readiness within the corporate FX environment.
Key Responsibilities
Minimum 3–5 years experience in sales within financial services, FX, or a related corporate environment
Deliver annual and monthly sales targets aligned to the overall sales strategy
Develop and manage long-term relationships with corporate clients and introducing partners
Build and expand a regional distribution network of contacts and FX market influencers
Maintain and develop senior-level relationships with FX partners and advisors
Generate, manage, and close a high volume of FX sales opportunities
Identify client needs and present appropriate FX solutions and services
Manage clients from initial enquiry through onboarding, KYC, and trade readiness
Prepare and maintain an annual sales plan with monthly and quarterly updates
Uphold ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and best practice principles
About You
Minimum 3–5 years experience in a high-pressure sales environment, preferably within financial services or FX
Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
Strong understanding of FX sales, systems, and processes
Confident in cold calling, influencing, and engaging at senior and executive level
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and results-driven
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong phone presence
Highly organised with strong planning, diary management, and time management skills
Professional, presentable, and confident with emotional maturity and gravitas
Team-oriented and comfortable working within a small, close-knit team
Fast learner who adapts well to change and evolving demands
Matric qualification with regulatory exams (RE) and FAIS compliance
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans is advantageous
A relevant business or legal qualification would be beneficial
