Our client in the Professional Services Sector, Consulting Services Industry, IT is looking for a Business Development Consultant to join their performance driven team. If you meet the below requirements, do not hesitate to submit your CV for consideration.
Duties and Responsibility:
New Business Development (Core Focus)
Identify and pursue new business opportunities aggressively
Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads
Secure meetings with decision -makers (HR, EXCO, Procurement, etc.)
Present Company's full suite of services to potential clients
Close deals and convert opportunities into revenue
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Understand client needs and position relevant solutions
Drive repeat business and cross -selling opportunities
Market Expansion
Establish Company’s presence in the region
Identify industry opportunities and key target clients
Support the long -term goal of building a fully operational regional office
Sales Reporting and Accountability
Submit weekly sales reports (pipeline, meetings, deals closed)
Track and report on revenue generated
Maintain accurate CRM records
Matric
Relevant Qualification – Business Development/ Sales and equivalent
4–6+ years proven experience in sales or business development
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience in selling services (B2B) – highly advantageous
Strong network within corporate South Africa (preferred)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self -driven, disciplined, and results -oriented
