Business Development Representative (US Healthcare) - Remote | EST Hours

ISTA Personnel Solutions is a dynamic, fast-growing BPO company providing dedicated operational support to U.S.-based clients. We act as a direct extension of our clients’ teams, delivering high-quality service with precision and efficiency.

This role supports a U.S.-based behavioral health facility group and is focused on driving business development and outreach within the healthcare space. You will be responsible for building relationships with hospitals, connecting with key decision-makers such as case managers, and introducing the client’s services through meetings and presentations.

This is a relationship-driven sales role that requires confidence in outbound outreach, persistence in follow-ups, and the ability to build trust with healthcare professionals.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Working Hours: Mon – Fri 09:00 am – 6:00 pm EST (15:00 pm - 00:00 pm OR 16:00 pm - 01:00 am South African Time, depending on daylight savings in the USA)
• Public Holidays: You will be required to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays. Compensation for South African public holidays will be provided in accordance with the BCEA.
• Internet Requirements: Fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download), and support for a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Candidates without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
• Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding or outages. Candidates without backup cannot be considered.
• Work Environment: Fully remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound outreach to hospitals via phone and email.
• Engage with case managers and key stakeholders to introduce services.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate lunch-and-learn sessions.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare facilities.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of contacts and facility information.
• Track changes within hospitals (staff, departments, decision-makers).
• Proactively follow up on leads and opportunities.
• Take ownership of building and managing a consistent outreach pipeline.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or outreach.
• Strong cold calling and email outreach experience.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Confident, engaging, and professional phone presence.
• Highly proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of results.
• Strong follow-up skills with a persistent yet professional approach.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Outlook).
