Job Description - Business Solutions Consultant

We’re looking for a results -driven Business Solutions Consultant to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top -line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability for the business.

As a Business Solutions Consultant, you should showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should also act proactively to address clients’ needs and facilitate the sales process from beginning to the end.

Ultimately, you should contribute to an increase in sales and maintain our company -client relationships at a high standard.

Summary Responsibilities:
  • Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
  • Performing cost -benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
  • Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales

Responsibilities Include:

  • Reach out to
    prospective clients through cold -calling, email, phone, face -to face etc. to
    meet sales targets.

  • Set up meetings
    and perform cost -benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to
    meet their needs.

  • Prepare and
    deliver appropriate presentations/demo’s on products/ services.

  • Negotiate/close
    deals and handle paperwork (e.g. quotes, invoices, orders).

  • Follow up
    regularly after closing a sale to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Develop and
    maintain positive business, supplier and customer relationships.

  • Respond promptly
    to customer queries and complaints to find solutions, defuse tension and pass
    on issues to help -desk when needed.

  • Expedite the
    resolution of customer problems and offer solutions to maximise customer
    satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with
    team to achieve better results.

  • Report on a regular basis to management your sales activity,
    accounts status and possible issues.

  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and promotional trends.
  • Attend, engage, train and get certified on provided training
    platforms.

  • Continuously improve through feedback.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales representative or similar sales role.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Well versed in IT skills such as Microsoft office suite and CRM systems (Zoho CRM, SalesForce etc).
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and work independently.
  • Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans).

  • A comprehensive
    understanding of Internet, VoIP and Cloud services.

  • We are open to local candidates only! You'll need to be in DSL Telecom’s office in Somerset West on a regular basis with the ability to work remote when required.
