Cashier

Position: Cashier Company: Msuez UK Location: Brits, North West, South Africa Contract Details: Full-time Msuez UK is a leading retail company in Brits, North West, South Africa. We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and assisting them with their purchases. Key Responsibilities: - Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system - Greet customers and answer their questions in a friendly and professional manner - Assist customers with finding products and making purchasing decisions - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Count and verify cash and credit card payments at the end of each shift - Ensure all transactions are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers - Follow all safety and security procedures to prevent theft and fraud - Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred - Basic math and computer skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
