Role Overview

CyberPro Consulting is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, web applications, and cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimising cloud environments while ensuring the availability, security, scalability, and performance of applications and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing cloud platforms, supporting web applications, automating infrastructure deployments, and implementing cloud best practices across AWS and Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  

• Deploy, configure, and support web applications in cloud environments.
  

• Manage cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security.
  

• Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.
  

• Implement cloud security controls, access management, and compliance best practices.
  

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  

• Support application deployments, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
  

• Manage cloud networking, including virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, and connectivity.
  

• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.
  

• Identify opportunities to improve cloud architecture, operational efficiency, and cost optimisation.
  

• Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
  

Essential Technical Skills

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
  

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
  

• Experience deploying and supporting web applications.
  

• Understanding of web application architecture and application hosting.
  

• Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.
  

• Experience with cloud networking, firewalls, load balancing, and DNS.
  

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting cloud environments.
  

• Understanding of identity and access management.
  

• Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  

• Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
  

• Understanding of high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
  

• Experience managing cloud costs and optimising resource utilisation.
