About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and Azure. The role involves developing infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring performance and security, automating deployment processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development teams to enhance cloud-native applications and services.

Requirements:

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and Azure;

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates;

Monitor and optimise the performance, scalability, and availability of cloud infrastructure and services;

Ensure the security of cloud environments through the implementation of security best practices;

Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures;

Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy cloud-native applications and services;

Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools;

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure-related issues;

Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, features, and best practices;

Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments of cloud environments;

Manage and optimise cloud costs through efficient resource management and cost monitoring;

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for cloud services;

Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure;

Provide training and guidance to other IT staff and stakeholders on cloud infrastructure and best practices;

Participate in the planning and execution of cloud migration projects, including scoping, development, testing, and deployment;

Lead the design and implementation of hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments;

Generate and analyse reports on cloud infrastructure usage, performance, and security incidents;

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud infrastructure management;

Respond to and resolve escalated support tickets related to cloud infrastructure;

Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine cloud infrastructure tasks;

Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud infrastructure with existing systems and processes;

Coordinate with cloud service providers for issue resolution and service enhancements;

Participate in the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures related to cloud infrastructure;

Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud infrastructure implementations and customisations;

Provide input and recommendations for the continuous improvement of cloud service delivery.
