CNC OPERATOR SIGNAGE INDUSTRY | JOHANNESBURG | R20 000 PM

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our client''s fast-paced, in-house signage and exhibition production studio. You will work closely with our design team to bring creative concepts to life, turning 2D design files into physical elements for clients in both the corporate and media space. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the in-house design team to interpret, draw, check, and tweak 2D design files

• Prepare and operate CNC machines using finalized design files (plug-and-play execution)
• Attend briefing sessions to understand job scope and contribute to file preparation

• Handle cutting and production of signage and exhibition elements

• Maintain equipment, monitor quality, and ensure projects meet tight deadlines

• Work after hours and weekends when project demands require it

• Engage respectfully with team members across all skill levels empathy and teamwork are essential

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC machines in a signage, print, or exhibition environment

• Solid understanding of 2D file design and editing (e.g., CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or similar software)

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with high attention to detail

• Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse team

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the company

• Matric or relevant technical qualification preferred

Location: Johannesburg
Salary: R10 000 - R15 000 per month
