About the Role
The Commercial Assistant will be responsible for a range of administrative, secretarial and support functions to assist the Commercial Business - Sales and Marketing, with their day-to-day activities. This role reports directly to the Sales Director, South Africa & Anglophone Africa.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for the planning, preparation and co-ordination of workshops, functions, trainings, and conferences;
- Receive and process Commercial invoices for payment;
- Manage, coordinate, and distribute marketing promotional material;
- Manage courier services, as well as internal and external mail;
- Update and maintain all Commercial documents, contracts and data;
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Director and Management team;
- Responsible for meeting scheduling, coordination and providing administrative support;
- Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Manage the order placement and distribution of goods. I.e. corporate gifts, stationery and office items.
- Support with ad hoc projects, tender sample packing and all-round activity requirements.
Who You Are
- Must have matric and preferably a post matric qualification in related field. I.e. Sales & Marketing or Administration;
- Minimum 3 years' administration and assistance experience in a similar role;
- Excellent computer skills - Microsoft package experience is essential, and SAP knowledge;
- Must be an excellent communicator (written, verbal and listening) and be able to engage in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders at all levels;
- Must be able to work independently and be a team player,
- Must be able to work under pressure, with strong prioritizing and organization skills;
- Must be able to multitask, work with attention to detail and accuracy;
- Must be fluent in English.
