Commercial Underwriter

Our client, a leader in their field, is looking for a fully qualified Commercial Underwriter to join their team.

You will be responsible for the full underwriting function across commercial lines, with a specific focus on sectional title and body corporate portfolios. This is a client-facing, broker-supportive role that requires a solid technical foundation and strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified in short-term insurance (RE, FAIS compliant)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial underwriting
• At least 1 year of experience in Body Corporate/Sectional Title underwriting
• Strong understanding of industry legislation, risk assessment, and product knowledge
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
