Salary: R30 000 - R35 000

We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Community Manager to lead audience engagement and delegate acquisition for a dynamic UK-based events and media company. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for attracting high-quality attendees to our conferences and building meaningful connections with our professional audience.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Execute delegate acquisition strategies to ensure strong attendance at conferences and events.


  • Identify, reach out to, and build relationships with professionals aligned with each event’s target audience.


  • Use LinkedIn and other professional networks to connect with prospective delegates.


  • Collaborate with conference producers to understand event themes and target personas.


  • Maintain accurate and organised records of outreach activities and responses.


  • Contribute to audience development plans and provide insight on engagement tactics.


  • Support ongoing community engagement efforts to foster long-term relationships with delegates.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in delegate acquisition, audience engagement, or community management within the events or media industry.


  • Proven success in attracting delegates for professional B2B conferences.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional approach.


  • Comfortable using LinkedIn for networking and outreach.


  • Experience working closely with content or event producers.


  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.


  • Access to a reliable internet connection and your own laptop or desktop.
