As a Company Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and personnel to various locations in and around Durban. Key Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport goods and personnel to designated locations - Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of goods - Perform routine vehicle maintenance and keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition - Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations and maintain a good driving record - Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately to the supervisor - Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups - Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to ensure smooth operations - Follow all company policies and procedures Qualifications and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Company Driver - Good knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Strong time management and organizational skills - Ability to lift and move heavy objects if required - Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting - Good knowledge of traffic rules and regulations Working Conditions: This is a full-time, permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week.
