Position Overview


The Continuous Improvement Specialist plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across the business. Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Lead, this role focuses on identifying, analysing, and implementing improvements through data-driven insights, structured problem-solving, forums, investigations, and audits.


You will work closely with Operations, Quality, and Training teams to improve KPIs, eliminate waste, reduce cost, and enhance both customer and employee outcomes. Your analysis and recommendations will directly influence operational strategies, process optimisation, and quality standards.


This is a specialist role suited to individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.



Key Responsibilities


Continuous Improvement & Process Excellence



  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, KPI optimisation, waste removal, and cost reduction across all key campaigns.

  • Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO-aligned tools and methodologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Training) to drive sustainable improvements across production and transactional processes.

  • Evaluate and prioritise improvement initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and required effort.

  • Establish clear implementation plans, success criteria, and measurable outcomes for each initiative.

  • Monitor and track the implementation of solutions to ensure objectives and expected benefits are achieved.


Data Analysis & Insights



  • Interpret, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • Conduct in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) using raw data to identify underlying issues.

  • Perform functional decomposition of datasets aligned to business objectives and operational, quality, and customer KPIs.

  • Generate actionable insights to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Develop clear, concise, and data-backed recommendations for Operational and Quality stakeholders.


Forums, Audits & Governance



  • Facilitate forums to test, validate, and deepen understanding of root cause analysis findings.

  • Conduct audits aligned to findings and recommendations to assess effectiveness, sustainability, and compliance.

  • Define audit regularity and evaluate the effectiveness of agreed tasks and objectives.


Project & Change Management



  • Conduct detailed assessments of current-state processes and accurately document issues and constraints.

  • Define deliverables, outcome indicators, and performance measurement criteria.

  • Identify available resources (people, systems, processes) required for successful implementation.

  • Analyse solution options, assessing both impact and feasibility.

  • Identify obstacles and risks and propose mitigation strategies through continuous improvement principles.

  • Resolve technical challenges related to processes, tools, data interpretation, regulatory requirements, or resource availability.



Qualifications


Essential



  • Minimum of 6 months’ tenure within Quantanite.

  • Proven track record of maintaining 95%+ attendance and performance.

  • Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments.

  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, including advanced Google Sheets / Excel skills, pivot tables, and reporting.

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Suite and commonly used business software.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.

  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and quality-focused.

  • Innovative, proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.


Preferred



  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO-aligned environments.

  • Experience working closely with Operations, Quality, and Training teams.

  • Solid understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies, including:

    • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

    • Value Stream Mapping

    • Continuous Improvement principles
