, Permanent Position: Courier Driver Msuez Uk is a leading courier and logistics company based in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Courier Drivers to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and documents to various locations in and around Pietermaritzburg. You will be the face of our company, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery of all items. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver packages and documents to designated locations - Plan and follow the most efficient route for each delivery - Ensure all packages and documents are properly secured and protected during transportation - Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages on time and with a friendly attitude - Collect payments and obtain signatures from customers as required - Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the company vehicle - Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor - Follow company policies and procedures at all times Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Courier Driver or in a similar role - Familiarity with Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas - Excellent time-management and organizational skills - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds - Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs - Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed We offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for growth within our company.
