Our client is seeking a vibrant Data Analyst to embark on a 6-month contract journey within a dynamic team. Our client is a thriving international Footwear and Clothing brand. As a crucial member of their Operations team, you will spearhead data insights and reporting strategies aimed at maximizing business performance and refining decision-making processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Extracting, combining, and analyzing raw data to produce bespoke stock and sales reports for stakeholders


• Analyzing sales data to identify trends, forecast future sales, and develop strategies for maximizing profitability


• Conducting market research to understand industry trends and customer preferences


• Collaborating with sales, marketing, finance, and operations departments to align sales strategies with business objectives


• Managing and updating sales-related data in CRM systems


• Monitoring data accuracy and completeness, validating against credible sources


• Creating an environment for easy access to data and analysis


• Overseeing data extraction and validation for CRM/Shopify integrated systems


• Facilitating the aging of stock for current vs. previous season inputs


• Process Automation and Business Reporting


• Data Preparation, Modelling, and Analysis


• Reviews of Collections Reporting


• Developing and maintaining tools and solutions for stakeholders


• Implementation of relevant procedures

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Information Technology


• 3-4 years of data management experience with expertise in data quality, particularly in financial services data


• Proficiency in systems, including advanced knowledge of office, CRM, and Shopify integrated systems


• Project management experience with exposure to governance and regulatory matters related to data


• Good SQL knowledge (advantageous)


• Modelling skills and experience (advantageous)

Salary : R15 000 CTC (6 month Fixed-Term Contract)

Start Date : ASAP
