Job Description - Development Planner (Senior)

What you will be doing:

Lead the planning of new developments, including cost analysis, design, market research, and stakeholder coordination.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, brokers, and other professionals to ensure pre-launch project execution.
Define and map out end-to-end project workflows, creating clear briefs and timelines.
Prepare accurate sales materials and ensure all legal, regulatory, and NHBRC documentation is secured and organised.
Manage occupancy and completion timelines, ensuring adherence to municipal regulations and project closeouts.
Conduct targeted research, gather credible data, and transform insights into visual presentations.
Regularly assess and improve development admin processes, research workflows, and collaboration strategies.
Stay informed on industry trends, adopt best practices, and contribute to ad-hoc projects.

What our client is looking for:

A relevant tertiary qualification (Property Studies, Architecture, etc.)
Experience in planning and delivering mid- to high-rise apartment projects.
Experience managing complex developments from inception to completion, including oversight of development administration.
Skilled in conducting economic and real estate research to guide development strategies and inform key decisions.
Effective at leading cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Broad relevant experience across all facets of real estate and property development.
